About Us
Smyrna Elementary Foundation is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 whose mission is to provide resources beyond what is provided by CCSD and PTA to support and enhance a quality educational experience for our children at Smyrna Elementary. We strive to have our funds impact as many SES students as possible and maintain past campaigns.
Sarah's Path
Sarah’s Path was established in 2016 as a memorial for beloved speech pathologist Sarah Lowder who had a love of the outdoors and the Smyrna Stars that she diligently worked with. Located in front of Smyrna Elementary, Sarah’s Path is a multi-use outdoor space that can be used as classroom for wonderful outdoor learning opportunities for the students and teachers. The Foundation continuously maintains and preserves this space annually.
Sport Court
Established in Spring 2024 and continuously maintained by the Foundation, this outdoor multi-use sport court allows for exercise and engagement for the students including basketball, pickleball, four square and more!
